At present it’s difficult to send High quality videos via WhatsApp but now you can send High quality videos through WhatsApp with its new high quality video sending feature. Last month WhatsApp had released the high quality image sending feature for Android beta users. But now WhatsApp has rolled out a high quality video sending feature for Android beta users.
The WhatsApp high quality video sending feature is at present available for only beta users. According to WABetainfo there will be a new button on the latest WhatsApp update that will let users send high quality videos. Though it claims to allow users to send high quality videos through WhatsApp it is believed that there’s still a little compression. Therefore even with the whatsapp high quality video sending feature its not possible to send a video with its original resolution.
When you send a video through WhatsApp the default option will still be standard quality. The videos that justify the quality settings with their resolution will only have the HD option. This is the tag added to the video having a high resolution and large size. This tag will help the recipient to know that the video is sent using the WhatsApp high quality video sending feature.
Though the feature sounds so good it has few limitations. As discussed earlier, video must be of high resolution and large size.
