Creators will find a new section on the newest update showing the top trending hashtags and songs to make reels with. This gives content creators a helping hand when deciding what to create as they are kept aware of what the public finds interesting, especially since these interests tend to change on a daily basis.

With this new feature, creators will find it easier to align and time elements at the right time in a more visually accommodating way. Making quality videos would be easier than ever!

The metrics of the updated Instagram will allow creators to see the average watch time of each of their reels. This is calculated by dividing watch time with the number of total plays. These statistics will help a creator better understand where people are engaged and where they need to create a stronger hook to give your viewer more incentive to keep watching. Expansion of Gifts feature
Instagram is expanding the Gifts feature to more countries, allowing fans and followers to support their favourite creators with money. The list of countries include Australia, Canada, France, Mexico, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
