Verizon Launches Android 15 (One UI 7) for Galaxy A15: What’s New & How to Update                                    

If you use Samsung Galaxy A15 5G and are on Verizon network, then there is good news for you. Verizon has rolled out a new update to One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 for the Galaxy A15 5G in the US. The build number of this update is A156USQU6CYE9 and it also includes the latest security patch of May 2025.

What's New In This Update?

The user interface has been completely refreshed in One UI 7.0. Now the home screen looks much smoother and the app drawer comes with a vertical scroll. Apart from this, the design of the folders has also been changed and now you can customize them better.

This update also adds a new "Now Bar" feature to the lock screen. Through this, you can control music, navigation and other live activities directly from the lock screen. Also, new camera features, advanced video editing tools and improved animations are also included in it.

Security And Performance Improvements

With this update of Android 15, Verizon has also released the May 2025 security patch. This will make your phone's security better than before. Apart from this, battery performance and overall system stability have also been improved.

This update has been released for Verizon locked devices in the US. To get it, go to your phone: Settings > Software Update > Download and Install
