
The Chinese tech giant OnePlus revealed the launch date of their two upcoming devices first one is OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra, and the second one is Ace 5 Racing Edition, which is going to release on 27th May 2025. These two devices will come with MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9400-series chipset. OnePlus launches these two smartphones to enhance the gaming experience of the users, and will provide deeper silicon-level customization along with performance optimization.
OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra Racing Edition
As per the company, the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition are going to feature a triple-chip gaming structure. While both smartphones will have the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, which will come with the X-Touch control chipset, along with the G1 e-sports Wi-Fi chip. OnePlus is coming with a full-link hardware-level gaming architecture to improve the gaming performance, along with stability and the less power consumption.
This performance optimization is applied to the Dimensity platform, which enhances the 54.3 percent scheduling efficiency and also reduces the 38.3 percent load in the core. It also reduces the power consumption by 10.3%, which helps to maintain the consistent frame rates while doing a heavy gaming session, and maintains the temperature.
As per the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra will provide the top-tier gaming performance along with the open-world RPGs at 120 frames per second with the resolution of 1.5K. It’s powered by OnePlus’ exclusive Fengchi gaming core, which provides the top-tier 1% low-frame rate stability along with ultra-smooth interactions and enhanced visuals.
As per the rumors, it is also expected that the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition will come with a 6.77-inch LTPS OLED Display and a 1.5K resolution, along with a 114Hz panel. If we talk about the battery size of the smartphone, then it will come with a 7,000mAh battery along with the 80W fast charging support. Meanwhile, the Ace 5 Ultra will have a bigger screen than the Ace 5, it will come with a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED 1.5K 144Hz display, along with a 7,000mAh battery and 100W fast charging support.
According to OnePlus, the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra will come with the powerful Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, and the Ace 5 Racing Edition will come with the Dimensity 9400e chipsets. If we talk about the camera of these smartphones, then it will feature a 50MP primary sensor. This time, OnePlus is coming with the Magic Cube button to improve the in-game control.
