9to5Mac has reportedly received a highly detailed set of CAD files from a trusted source regarding the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro. One of the most notable changes is that the upcoming iPhone 15 pro features an action button.Â
Multiple rumours have surrounded the new iPhone 15 Pro, with many reputed sources stating that the iPhone 15 Pro features haptic buttons. We assume that these buttons could be one long singular piece instead of two individual buttons.
However, in the past few weeks, new rumours have popped up claiming that the haptic buttons have been replaced by traditional volume buttons due to production issues. The CAD files that 9to5Mac have received back this change.Â

Many fear that this change would lead to Apple scrapping the “mute button” which would replace the existing mute button with better functionality. But, one can confidently assume that Apple will release both a traditional button design and a mute button on the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro.
The mute button is rumoured to add higher functionality, leading iPhone 15 Pro to feature an action button. Many speculate that the new mute button will emulate the Action Button featured in the Apple Watch Ultra. But this new action button feature on the iPhone 15 Pro will be limited to the 15 Pro lineup; the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models will stick to the current mute switch.
In addition to the action button on the iPhone 15 Pro, the smartphone will also feature a protruding camera that is slightly larger than the existing camera bump on the iPhone 14 Pro. This slightly enlarged camera bump lends credence to rumours of Apple including a periscope zoom lens to their iPhone 15 Pro.
