If you use a Xiaomi or Redmi phone, then there is great news for you! Today, i.e. on 28 May 2025, Xiaomi has released its latest and biggest software update till date, HyperOS 2.2.
Now this update is being rolled out not only in China but also globally.

What Has Changed In This Update?
You will get many great and smart features in HyperOS 2.2:
- Improved animations and smooth UI: Now swiping, scrolling and transitions between apps will feel more natural and faster than before.
- New Camera 6.0 interface: The camera app has been upgraded, now it is easier to take photos and use Pro mode.
- AI Powered Features: The new Super XiaoAI Memory feature smartly manages memory in the background, improving both the phone's performance and battery.
- Improved navigation: Access to shortcuts and settings is now faster and more straightforward.
Which Phones Have Received This Update?
In the first phase, this update is being rolled out to selected Xiaomi and Redmi devices in stable version:
- Xiaomi 15, 15 Pro, 15 Ultra
- Xiaomi 14, 14 Pro, 14 Ultra
- Redmi K70, K70 Pro, K70 Ultra
- Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro
- MIX Fold 4 and MIX Flip
Redmi Note series, Xiaomi 13T Pro, and POCO phones will also start getting this update in the coming weeks.

What About India And Global Users?
This update has been rolled out globally from today in many countries including India. All users can start getting it from the first week of June, depending on the model and serial of the device.
