
Xiaomi is taking a major step for HyperOS 3 by redesigning the interface, so that it will provide a premium and more familiar experience. This time, Xiaomi also comes with a significant change after many years, that is, a change in the signal and battery icons that were last changed in MIUI 6 and 12. In HyperOS 3 signal bar and the battery icon will now look bolder and cleaner, and be redesigned which providing a stunning look and also improving the user experience. While the inspiration for these changes is taken from iOS devices. Xiaomi always tries to follow the current design trends so that it will enhance the user experience.

Icon enlargement
Now with HyperOS 3 Singles and WiFi icons will become bolder so that they will be visible clearly as user faces problems seeing these icons. This enhancement in icons is a practical improvement. Now it will be clearly visible to the users that they don’t need to go in the dark to view this, as it is now bolder, so users will be able to see icons easily in a daylight environment.
The battery icon has also been updated. Xiaomi has changed the old semi-transparent design, it is now a solid, matte style. Now it is cleaner and enhanced. This small change helps make HyperOS 3 feel more modern and focused on the user experience.
Interface Enhancements
New preview images show that HyperOS 3 is going through a major design change. The app icons now look similar to as the iOS 18, which provides the system a more stylish and uniform look. The home screen now looks cleaner, as the search bar has been removed, making more room for apps and widgets. Even the battery percentage has been redesigned, now it looks like the iPhone's, which shows that inspiration has been taken from iOS style layout.
Premium Glass UI Elements
HyperOS 3 comes with design elements inspired by Glass UI, which provide the interface more depth and enhanced. These small details improve the overall feel of the system and help Xiaomi’s software to compete with the premium devices.
Supported Devices
Xiaomi is not limiting the HyperOS 3 update to only a few devices. It will roll out to 33 Xiaomi phones, 19 POCO devices, and 44 Redmi models. This wide release shows Xiaomi’s strong commitment to users of all its brands, so they will also enjoy the newest features and improvements.
