Good news for the WhatsApp users that, as per the reports, WhatsApp is now testing a new artificial intelligence feature through which users are able to create custom AI chatbots. Currently, this is only available to the beta testers, and they can customize the chatbot’s function, personality, and appearance, and interact privately with their AI Chatbot. While the parent company, Meta, has already released this feature on their other social media platforms like Instagram and Messenger.
Key Details about Meta AI’s custom chatbot
As per the WABetaInfo report, WhatsApp is currently testing one AI feature through which users can create a custom AI chatbot. Beta users can download the 2.25.18.4 version from the Play Store, and earlier it was spotted with the name of ‘Create an AI’ tool. After this update, users can easily create the AI assistant as per their need, it can be just a simple chatbot, or a productivity assistant, a personalised trainer, etc.
WhatsApp users who want to access this feature, they just need to enter the prompt so they will get the what they want from AI. Users will also be able to assign a personality to the chatbot, which is similar to what we have seen in other AI messaging apps. Users can also get the preset template through which they can manage the interactive style, behaviour, or enhance the tone, which improves the user experience.
After the creation of the chatbot, users have the option to keep this private just for them, or they can also share it with others by sharing it with their family, friends, etc. It is still not confirmed when it will launch globally. But according to WABetaInfo, more WhatsApp beta users will get access to this feature in the upcoming weeks.
