Vivo X Fold 5 High Battery Capacity
On Weibo, the official teaser has been revealed by Vivo on their upcoming foldable phone, X Fold 5. It was rumoured that Vivo is releasing foldable phone with high battery capacity than the Galaxy Z Fold by Samsung. This rumour came right, Vivo is revealing X Fold 5 with 6000mAh, which is the highest battery in the world of foldable smartphone. It is also revealed by Vivo that they are going to use 2nd-generation semi-solid battery for the first time in X Fold 5. This quality will enable the handset to be workable even in -30°C temperature.
Vivo XFold5 Display, Design and Camera
The display will be built with 8T LTPO panels, which will support upto 4500nits peak brightness. This display feature will also enable the foldable phone to support PWM dimming at high frequency rate on inner as well as on outer screens.
Images shown in teaser reveal that the handset is going to be sturdy more than X Fold 3, at the same time, slimmer and of lesser weight than X Fold 3. Three colour variations will be, Baibai (Green), Quingsong (white) and Titanium (black).
It is also revealed officially that the current handset will be built with triple-set of camera lenses in its back. The presence of periscope telephoto lens by Zeiss has made the smartphone more premium and elegant. Another feature is of 3x optical zoom in the rear camera, which will even be functioned at -20°C temperature.
Vivo X Fold 5 Release Timeline
In China, this handset will be officially introduced for sale on 25th June 2025, around 7pm according to China local timing.
