Samsung’s One UI 8 Brings Smart Clipboard - But There’s a Catch

Samsung's One UI 8 update is going to come with a new feature called Smart Clipboard. Currently this feature is in beta testing and only some Galaxy S25 users are able to use it. This means that not all users can use it right now, but those who have the beta version are getting their first experience of it.

How the Smart Clipboard Works

Smart Clipboard makes your phone's clipboard more intelligent than before. Whenever you copy text, link or tracking number, a small floating window opens on the screen. In this window you get helpful options. If you copy a link, it can be immediately opened in the browser. If there is a tracking number, you can check the status. If there is a product name, Samsung Assistant searches it. This feature works very fast and is also easy to use.

Advanced Clipboard Features

There are other features given in this tool. This clipboard is not limited to just copy-paste. You can see the summary of the copied text, check grammar and spelling, and can also translate the text. All work is done inside the phone, so your data is not sent over the internet, which is a good thing for privacy.

Is It Available for Everyone?

This feature may be only for users in China. According to a tipster, even after the global version of One UI 8 is released, it will not be available in all countries. Samsung has not yet made any official announcement on this, but it is expected that there can be a global rollout anytime in the future.

A Useful Feature with Limited Reach

Smart Clipboard is a useful feature, but it is not available for all users. I hope Samsung will launch this phone for everyone in the future so that everyone can take advantage of it.
