
Samsung has launched its best ISOCELL Zoom camera sensors (HP3, HP5 and HP9) till date. These sensors are especially known for 200MP Telephoto zoom quality. But the surprising thing is that Samsung itself is not using them in its Galaxy phones.

Why will this powerful camera not be available in Galaxy S25 Ultra?
According to the information revealed recently, Samsung did not include these 200MP zoom sensors in Galaxy S25 Ultra. The reason is clear, the company wants to keep its Galaxy phones thin and light. At the same time, Chinese brands like Vivo are able to use these heavy sensors in their flagship phones because they have more flexibility regarding thickness in the design.

According to leaker Ice Universe, Chinese companies are including 200MP sensors like ISOCELL HP9 in their new phones on a large scale. Phones like the Vivo X100 already feature this technology. The camera race will get even fiercer in the coming months.
Samsung's own camera strategy
Samsung says that they cannot make major changes to the camera module to maintain the design. The company is focusing on a better photo experience for its Galaxy users, not just more megapixels.
Any changes expected in the future?
Although these zoom sensors are not coming to the Galaxy S25 Ultra right now, reports suggest that Samsung could make a big change in camera quality in the future through ALOP lens technology and AI-based upgrades.
If you are thinking of buying the Galaxy S25 Ultra, then know that it will not get Samsung's most powerful 200MP zoom camera, but the camera performance will still be great.
