Samsung Begins One UI 8 Testing on Galaxy S24 FE — Beta Update Incoming!                                    

It is now officially confirmed that Samsung has started testing on Android-16 based One UI 8 for their upcoming Galaxy S24, after their successful run of Android-16 One UI 8 for Galaxy A55. The firmware version of Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, S721BXXU6CYG1/S721BOXM6CYG1/S721BXXU6CYG1 is ready for the One UI 8 test by Samsung, though, the device is not available in front of public yet. It is still in doubt that Samsung will roll out the beta program for One UI 8, after they rolled out the One UI 7 in Galaxy S24 FE. One UI 8 Version Details

It is claimed officially that One UI 8 is not coming with many major upgrades over One UI 7, however, they are adding many advanced features. The advanced features present in One UI 8 will enable the Galaxy users to get more streamlined experiences. Samsung has already started testing this upgraded version on S24 and S23 series. It is also noted that Galaxy S22 series will receive the One UI 8 upgrades.

Samsung is also running a beta program on One UI8 on the Galaxy S25 series, includes S25, S25 Ultra and S25+. It is already revealed that the testing as well as beta program by Samsung on One UI 8 become successful.

One UI 8 Official Release Timeline

Samsung has already revealed the teaser on One UI 8. We are expecting its official release on 9th July 2025. So, the One UI 8 is coming next week, however, the global rollout will take time. It is revealed that Samsung might roll out the One UI 8 on S24, then S23 and lastly S22 series of Samsung Galaxy. Beta program is expanding, but it will take little more time. Samsung has already started testing One UI 8 in Galaxy S25 FE. The software development will start after Samsung Galaxy S24 FE.
