Who’s Eligible?
As for the educational qualifications, the applicants must have to have passed the 10th class or the parallel class of it (according to the 10+2 examination system) with at least a 50% of marks in total. Additionally they must have the National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT for the particular trade they are taking.
The minimum qualifications required for the following professions are having completed the 8th grade from an accepted school and having the National Trade Certificate from NCVT/SCVT for the specified trade; carpenter, welder (gas and electric), metal worker/sheet, lineman, wireman, painter (general). For the eligible age groups, anyone between 15-24 years old is accepted.
How to Apply Online?
You can find the Railway Recruitment application form on their official website. The Railway Recruitment Cell will be accepting applications for all the 3115 apprentice vacancies (carpenter, welder, electrician, fitter, wireman etc.) in Railway Units.
Candidates are expected to submit the applications between 30th January to 29th February, 2023, without waiting till the last moment as there might be problems with login, connection due to traffic on the website.
After visiting the Indian Railways’ website, select login and fill out the given form. Your personal information, a photo of yourself as well as certain documents will be needed.
