What Is the Education Hub and Where to Find It?
Education Hub has been added to the new version 9.9 of the Pixel Camera app. This new feature is rolling out gradually to the Pixel 6, 6a, 7, 7a, 8, and 9 series phones. When you open the Camera app, a small "?" button will appear at the top right. As soon as you tap on it, you get two options, “Explore ways to take photos” and “Explore ways to take videos”.
By going to these, you can get information about each camera mode, how and when to use it.
Which Camera Features Will You Get to Learn?
With the help of this new hub, you will be able to understand many features of the camera app like Night Sight, Portrait, Add me, Panorama, Long Exposure, Cinematic Blur, and Slow Motion. Each feature has small steps, so that you can learn yourself how that mode works and how to make a better photo or video.
Smarter Design and Bonus Tips Inside the Hub
Education Hub is built on Google's latest Material 3 design, which provides easy navigation and a colorful interface for users. It also has a section called "More Tips" in which you get additional guidance, such as tips for taking DSLR-like photos, proper use of features like 10-bit HDR, Manual Lens and Locked Folder.
Learn Photography Without Leaving the App
If you like to take photos or videos with a Pixel phone, then now you do not need to look for tips from outside. Google's Education Hub will give you complete information inside the camera app itself, and that too in easy language. This feature is especially beneficial for those who want to learn mobile photography.
