Elon Musk’s advice to Twitter user who deleted all dating apps

Elon Musk advises a Twitter user who has deleted all dating apps, recommending Twitter as a dating platform.

Recently, Musk replied to a tweet sent out by a Twitter user with a verified badge who declared that they deleted all dating apps as they wished to meet people organically. Elon Musk suggested using his platform to meet people; surprisingly, his suggestions aren’t baseless. The popular hashtag “We Met On Twitter” is testimony to the fact that you can find meaningful relationships through Musk’s social media platform.

The tweet sent out by Twitter user @PrinceVogel read, “ Deleted all dating apps. Decided to try to meet someone the old-fashioned way: God making a woman out of my rib”. Elon Musk replied to this, saying, “Try meeting someone on this platform. Many have.”

Twitter has been a space where people have talked and connected since 2006. There are almost no limits to what you can say on Twitter, so it is a great place to voice your genuine thoughts and opinions without fear of social norms. In return, anyone can respond to others’ tweets any way they want. While there are both positive and negative outcomes of having such a freeing networking space, the very nature of the app has led many people to form meaningful relationships. Casual friendships often grow into strong, maybe even romantic, relationships.

On Twitter, you can interact with people who share the same hobbies, passions, opinions, and values as you. Sometimes, replying to a random tweet that resonates with you can be the starting point of a blossoming friendship. As you continue to interact, chat, and maybe even meet in real life, your connection has every chance of deepening into something more substantial. The beauty of this is that you might have never gotten a chance to talk under any other circumstances.

Stories shared under the #WeMetOnTwitter hashtag chronicle people meeting their spouses or best friends due to a shared interest addressed on Twitter. The hashtag proves that using Twitter should not be limited to just voicing random thoughts. It is possible to form bonds of love and companionship through this popular networking app.
While networking has never been easier, it is astonishing how few people use it to their long-term advantage. Elon Musk’s advice to the Twitter user who deleted all dating apps can and should be taken seriously.
