Nothing will launch its newest affordable smartphone under the CMF brand on 28 April 2025. The CMF Phone 2 Pro is set for launch in India on April 28, with the event starting at 6:30 PM. In this event, Nothing will also feature the unveiling of new CMF audio gear, such as Buds 2, Buds 2a, and possibly Buds 2 Plus. CMF is preparing for its second significant product rollout, which includes the new phone and audio gear.
Before the reveal of the Smartphone, some teasers were released by Nothing that confirm the CMF Phone 2 Pro specifications, like dual tone finish, and also the triple rear camera set and the processor details of the CMF Phone 2. Triple-Camera Setup
As we know that CMF is a sub-brand of Nothing, which was revealed a few years ago. The CMF Phone 2 Pro was launched by the company for users with a low budget, for those who want to get the premium features. Usually, we see that different brands are just trying to provide balanced specifications, normal battery life, and basic cameras. Meanwhile, CMF Phone 2 Pro by nothing is rying to be a photography-oriented smartphone.
With the teaser, it has been revealed that this smartphone will feature a triple camera setup on the rear side. On the rear side, CMF Phone 2 Pro provides a 50 megapixel primary camera with an 8 megapixel ultra-wide lens, along with a 1/1.57-inch sensor and one more surprising feature that is a Talephoto lens with optical zoom capability. However, we have seen that most of the smartphone brands use their Tally photo lens in their flagship or premium smartphone, but users can get this in the CMF Phoen 2 Pro. Now we have to see whether the CMF Phone 2 Pro can maintain affordability while providing three rear cameras.
Powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 7300 Pro
As compared to the older version of the CMF phone, in CMF Phone 2 Pro, users get the MediaTek dimensions 7300 Pro chipset. As compared to the CMF Phone 1, the CMF Phone 2 Pro chipset will provide 10x CPU performance with enhanced graphics, as claimed by the company. For those who don't know, we will let you know that the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Pro is the updated version of the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, which was used in the CMF Phone 1.
Design
For Gamers CMS phone to Pro beast as it provides 120 FPS gameplay in Battlegrounds Mobile India, along with the 1000Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is designed to be both lightweight and sleek, which makes it feel comfortable in the hand. This smartphone is going to launch along with the CMF Buds 2a, Buds 2 Plus, and Buds 2 earphones. In a recent X update, Nothing’s co-founder Akis Evangelidis revealed that buyers of the CMF Phone 2 Pro will get a charger in the box.
