They also represent two major platforms -Qualcomm’s (Snapdragon 8 Elite) and (MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+), in that order.

If the name wasn’t given its way right away, this release is aimed at developers who want to get hands-on with Android 16, testing their apps and trying out the new APIs and features.

If you wish to try the beta, update the phones first. The Xiaomi must be running OS2.0.109.0. VOCMIXM or later installed, while the 14T Pro must be on OS2.0.103.0. VNNMIXM or later.

How to check Update

You can get also download ROMs for Android 15/HyperOS 2 if you wish to downgrade back to the current OS version.

The second update method requires Fast boot and an unlocked bootloader, so it's better to use the local update method. Remember that this will erase your data, so be sure to back it up first.
