As per the reports by WaBetaInfo, there is an upcoming possibility to silence calls from unknown callers in WhatsApp. This has already been spotted in the beta version of the Android app. Reports say, this feature is going to remain in the beta version for a while.

Accessing Silence Calls from Unknown number

There is a screenshot available shared by WaBetaInfo, this feature can easily get accessed within WhatsApp. Go to the Settings > Tap on Privacy menu. When this is enabled, this feature allows users to mute incoming calls from random unknown numbers. This will still be displayed in the Calls tab as well as in the notification centre.
This feature can completely save the users from scam calls. Users get more control to receive other random calls. This feature keeps the users away from unnecessary interruptions and issues. The silence calls feature also keeps an extra layer of privacy for user’s WhatsApp accounts.
