Vivo X Fold 5 Officially Launching June 25: Here’s What You Need to Know                                    

Vivo has finally made an official announcement of the release date of their X Fold 5. This upcoming foldable smartphone is coming on this 25th June, key features and specifications have also been out. Let know them in details:

Vivo X Fold 5 Release Timeline

Vivo is going to reveal their new foldable smartphone, X Fold 5, which is going to release after success run of X Fold 3. This handset is going to make debut on 25th June 2025. We can expect the launching of this device in India very soon as it has already cleared BIS certifications in India. In China, X Fold 5 is going to be unveiled around 7 pm, which translates to 4:30pm in India, on June 25th.

Vivo X Fold 5 Designs and Display

The official teaser has revealed that this is going to be the slimmest foldable phone. Three colour variations of this smartphone are: Black, White and Green. The official image has highlighted the presence of circular camera in the back, which made the design more elegant and premium. There is a punch-hole in the front side of this handset, featuring selfie-camera. Display is built with 6.53” screen, featuring AMOLED panel. It will support 4500nits brightness. It has already achieved global certification on eye protection by TUV.

Vivo X Fold 5 Specifications

Vivo has powered the current handset with Snapdragon-8 Generation 3 chipset. Comparing to Fold X3, it will boost up more 30% in performance and 20% in power efficiency. RAM is boosted with 16GB, which made the current handset faster. Internal storage can be expanded upto 512GB in Vivo X Fold5.

Three lens-setup in rear camera featuring 50MP+50MP+50MP, primary, telephoto and ultra-wide lenses. Front camera is backed by 32MP. This device by Vivo might come with 6000mAh battery power, will support fast charging upto 90W.

This device has been tested with IPX8, IPX9 and IPX5 certifications so  that the handset can be protected from water and dust.

Vivo X Fold 5 Pricing and Availability

In official website of Vivo, China, the pre-order option has been opened. But, the cost of XFold5 has not been revealed yet, we can expect it will be slightly pricing more than of XFold3, CNY6999.
