These HyperOS Features will Blow Your Mind

Xiaomi has recently launched its new operating system, HyperOS, so what are the features to look for? Built on top of Linux and an internal Xiaomi Vela system, HyperOS supports more than 20 common file systems and more than 200 processor platforms.

HyperOS’s features are compatible with a range of hardware, starting with just 64 KB of RAM and going up to 24 GB, which enables Xiaomi to compile a custom iteration of HyperOS.

HyperOS has several features that make it stand out from other operating systems. Some of the key features of HyperOS include:

  • Precise hardware scheduling: This HyperOS feature ensures smooth performance and power efficiency even in complex scenarios.
  • Restructured subsystems: HyperOS is restructuring the file system, memory management, imaging subsystem, and network system to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Integrated device center: With the integrated device center, controlling and monitoring any connected device will be much easier.

HyperOS’s features are not limited to smartphones; it will also power an entire lineup of smart devices, including personal devices, cars, and home products. Xiaomi originally started developing HyperOS back in 2017, which is said to act like a bridge between smartphones and other smart devices, helping the brand bring all the products under one umbrella.

HyperOS features will be seen on the upcoming Xiaomi 14 series smartphones, which have apparently entered production, though the launch date has not been officially announced yet. Xiaomi has also announced that it will start its international rollout of HyperOS features in the first quarter of 2024.
