The Xperia 1 VII, Sony’s latest flagship smartphone, has been unveiled in Europe. Interested users can now do pre-orders as the smartphone is now live, with three colour options available that are Moss Green, Slate Black, and Orchid Purple.

Talking about the display of Sony Xperia 1 VII then it has a 6.5-inch full-HD+ OLED display, and it also has a 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution. Also, for a seamless experience, it has a 120Hz refresh rate. It also displays 100% of the DCI-P3 colours and Sony’s Bravia technology, which improves the picture quality. For the front display of Xperia 1 VII, it has the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and on the back side, it has Gorilla Glass protection. Also, to protect it from water, it has an IPX5 and IPX8 rating, and also to protect it from dust, it has an IP6X certification.
Xperia 1 VII will come with a triple camera set at the rear. In which the main sensor will have a 48MP Sony Exmor T sensor with a 24mm focal length, and also has a 12MP Exmor RS sensor for optical zoom (85mm to 170mm). It also has a 48MP Exmor RS ultra-wide sensor along with a focal length of 16mm. The ultra-wide sensor is also upgraded, as we have seen a 12MP sensor in its previous version (Xperia 1 VI). Through Xperia 1 VII, we can also capture 4K HDR recording at 120fps. For better selfies and video calls, it also has a 12MP front camera.
Xperia 1 VII comes with stereo speakers, which include components from Sony’s iconic Walkman series. This device also features Dolby Atmos, LDAC, 360 Reality Audio, DSEE, and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive. All these components provide the best audio quality with the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is the best option for the user who prefers wired earphones.
This time, Sony also improved the gaming experience by providing features like FPS optimiser, 240Hz touch scanning rate, Game Enhancer, and remote play compatibility. All these features are added to improve the gaming experience and ensure smoother performance.
Talking about the battery size of the Xperia 1 VII then it has a powerful battery of 5,000mAh along with 30W fast charging through USB Type-C. If we look for the connectivity features of this smartphone, then it has Bluetooth 5, GLONASS, NFC, and many more. For security, it also has side side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Sony Xperia 1 VII Price
If we talk about the price of Xperia 1 VII, it will cost around GBP 1,399, in INR it will cost around Rs 1,56,700. This smartphone will come with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, along with the base variant of 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Sony will also provide six years of security updates and four years of Android updates.
