Samsung may release the Android 15-based One UI 7 update to the Galaxy S23 series in a week. Samsung is planning to release updates for the Galaxy S24, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6.
As scheduled, Samsung officially launched a One UI 7 Stable update to its 2024 flagship smartphones on April 7. Due to a critical bug, Samsung to paused the update rollout for some time. As the bug has been addressed, now bug-free version of the One UI 7 is now ready to roll out soon.
The wait is almost over for the Samsung Galaxy users. Some regions could start getting the One UI 7 update from Samsung as early as next week. This update will be rolled out globally in the coming weeks, with some regions receiving it in the upcoming days.
Canadian provider Telus recently updated its rollout plan to include the Galaxy S23 series. According to the report, Samsung is expected to start rolling out the Android 15-based One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S23 series on April 22.
It has been said that Galaxy S23 series users are just a week away from their One UI 7 update. Users are waiting for the update till Aug 2024, when the beta programme is typically active. Samsung has also missed its original target of a stable release, which was set for October 2024. After months of delays in the stable release, Samsung prioritised improving the software for a better user experience.
The eligible devices currently include the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. According to Samsung's update roadmap, Devices such as the Galaxy S23 FE and older flagships are expected to receive One UI 7 by May 2025.
