As we know that Samsung started the release of the One UI 7 update last month to the Galaxy S24 series, and it also provided the update to the Galaxy Fold 6 and Flip 6. Since then, the update has been released to the 22 older Galaxy models all over the world.
This latest update brings several improvements, including UI upgrades, refined animations, and better overall usability. But Samsung is gradually expanding the update to reach all versions, including those locked to carriers. You can check and install the update by visiting Settings, then Software update, and clicking 'Download and install'.
If the update is not available yet, your device may receive it in a future roll out. As of May 2025, here are 22 Samsung models that are currently receiving One UI 7 in the U.S.

What to do before the update?
We recommend that you secure a backup of important files before the installation, especially if you have these models. While software improvements make the upgrade safe, it is recommended to take an additional step to secure your data. We advise using Samsung Cloud for unlimited data backup, which lasts for 30 days, and through which you can restore easily at any time.
