Users of Samsung's Galaxy S25 devices running One UI 7 have complained about an inconvenient clock clipping problem. Samsung, however, has stated that a fresh software update will resolve the issue.

When the clock is positioned in the upper-right corner of the screen while utilizing the Good Lock QuickStar function, the clock clipping problem manifests. For instance, the number "9" on the right side of the clock appears to be partially chopped off vertically when it reads 10:09, giving the impression that it is not whole.

Some customers attempted to resolve the problem by changing their screen settings, such as going to high definition or reducing the screen to the smallest possible size. Still, the problem persisted.

Samsung has recognized QuickStar's clock clipping problems in response to these complaints. The community moderator confirmed that they will be fixed in a later software update.

According to the moderator, it's difficult to forecast with precision when the update will be accessible. Depending on a number of variables, the software update timeline may alter; therefore, customers will need to wait for more information. As Samsung works to implement the update, users are urged to exercise patience.

A software update that fixes the clock clipping issue and enhances the One UI 7 interface will be available shortly for Galaxy S25 Plus customers. Watch this space for additional details.
