Oppo had announced officially in April that they are coming with a new handset, Oppo A5 5G in India very soon. However, the date had not been released by the company. Finally, they have released a publication page on A5 5G, which indicates that Oppo is making debut of A5 5G very soon. The leaked image shows that the current handset is coming with 6.6” display-size, which a design in it (punch-hole design). The model number is going to be CPH2751. The punch-hole design in the back puts a premium and elegant design to the current model. Android-15 based A5 5G by Oppo will be run on ColorOS 15.0. It is going to be most high-performing handset, as it is also featuring Trinity engine. The processor, run in this current device is Dimensity 6300-chipset.
Battery capacity has been increased in this device, Oppo is going to keep 6000mAh battery capacity. This phone has another premium feature, having 6GB RAM, which can be expanded upto 10GB, having 4GB virtual RAM. The internal storage will be upgraded to 256GB in this handset. However, we have still in the blank about the camera lens, sensor and other features.
As this device has already been available in other countries, we can expect that this display will be coming with LCD panel, protected with Gorilla Glass 7i. It can also be expected that the present handset will have duel-lens setup in rear camera featuring 50MP primary lens and 2MP secondary lens. The front camera might be featuring with 8MP. The images leaked in other countries also imply it might have side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The current device will have IP68 and IP69 certifications, which proves the current device is protected from water and dust. The present device will support fast charging upto 45W.
Oppo A5 5G Pricing in India and Availability
A5 5G by Oppo is coming with mid-range pricing, the cost is starting from INR 15,499. Two variants will be available to make pre-order, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB.
