A not-so-few glitches observed in the One UI 7 Beta include missing scores on the Now Bar from Google Sports. It just recently broadened its Now Bar functionality to all compatible Galaxy smartphones after it made the feature available to the Galaxy S25. But it appears rather unworkable on a multitude of devices.

If you have One UI 7 Beta running on your Galaxy S24, S23, Z Fold 6, or Z Flip 6, you would probably have noticed something: sports scores from Google Sports not showing up live on the Now Bar.

The Galaxy S25 series believes the score is just perfectly fine and has completely avoided the issues. The issue was addressed by a moderator of Samsung's One UI Beta in a recent post on the US Community forum, while informing that the same problem has been flagged by other testers.

As a result, the updates from Google Sports are only showing in the lock screen notification area instead of on the Now Bar as intended, claimed the moderator.

The team is currently trying to figure out whether this is just a compatibility issue between the Google app and the Now Bar or perhaps a limitation on how live data flow works in this beta build.

The fact that the S25 series does not have the problem seems to indicate that it may be older device configurations or still-working software tweaks causing this issue. All these beta phases from Samsung are to find and fix these bugs, so this is not really a very surprising thing.

The community moderator has not revealed when it will be resolved, either. As One UI 7 is still in beta, it has time to smooth things with the update and then carry out the final rollout date at the end of the schedule on April 7.

Until then, if you're on the latest One UI 7 Beta on an affected device, you'll have to rely on those lock screen notifications or go into the Google app for your sports updates.
