Reliance Jio has introduced Jio Home by rebranding both its AirFiber and Fiber. In the latest representation, the company aimed to connect Jio Home to 100 million Homes. This strategic rebranding combines Jio’s 5 G-powered AirFiber (Fixed Wireless Access) and its wired fiber broadband service into a single ecosystem, which is similar as the Airtel Air fibre.

JioHome Service
As per the official website, it is mentioned that Jio Home will provide unlimited Wi-Fi along with non-stop entertainment by providing more than 800 TV channels, gaming facilities, OTT apps, and more functionalities.
According to this approach, previously Jio provided two different plan categories first one is Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), and the second is Fiber. But now Jio has combined its AirFiber and Fiber plans under one name, that is JioHome.
As per the company, if fiber connectivity is available in the customer’s area, then they will connect via Jio Fiber. Otherwise, they will connect it with the 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA). Also, as per Jio, they mapped the whole country and understand which technology can deliver the best internet speed in each area.

Installation
As per Jio, installation charges for the annual plan are free, while the customer has to pay Rs 500 with the semi-annual plan and Rs 1000 with the three-month plan. In all the plans customer can get wifi router along with the Jio 4K UHD Smart Set-Top Box (STB), also the remote will be included without any extra charge. Customers can access multiple features like Jio Games, JioPC, JioTV+, Smart Surveillance, and Home networking. Also, customer can use the JioTV+ app by installing it on their TV without any extra charge.

50-Day Free Trial Offer
- In February 2025, Jio introduced a new plan that is 50 50-day free trial plan for its Fibre and Ai Fibre, which is available for new customers as well as existing customers.
- In March 2025, Jio again introduced the same plan which announced in February, that is, 50 50-day trial for Jio Fiber and Jio Air Fibre. Customers need to buy the specific recharge plan to avail of this offer.
- In April 2025, the Jio Unlimited offer, which was initially planned from March 17 to March 31, has now been extended till April 30, 2025. As per the official website, once the trial period ends, users will be automatically shifted to the ₹599 monthly plan.
- As the promotional banners are still visible on the official website of Jio, there is having high chance that Jio will extend this plan also in May 2025 for the customers.
Conclusion
As we know that JioHome is the rebranded version of both 5G based Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) and Fiber services. As per Jio, they will use the suitable connectivity option as per the user's location. As per the recent trends, it seems that Jio may keep the 50-day free trial going on as it works toward its big goal of reaching 100 million homes across India.
