Now users will be able to do more creativity on their account. From the blog by Meta, it was mentioned that the testing is going on for the grid customisation feature through which users can easily arrange their posts, which makes the user account look aesthetically pleasing. Meta said that “We hope this new flexibility makes it easier for you to create and share content freely, without any pressure”. Instagram is also testing many more features, like silent posts, so no one will get a notification about that post, and many more latest features.

As these features are in the testing phase, Instagram now lets users create trial Reels and share them with people who don’t follow them. Many Instagram creators had requested this feature so they could test how their Reel performs before posting it for their followers. According to Meta, once creators tried trial Reels, 40% started posting regularly, and 80% of those got higher reach from people who don’t follow them. Another upcoming feature will let users share Spotify songs in their Instagram Notes, helping them connect better with friends and family.

Meanwhile, Instagram has also unveiled its plans to invest further in its mobile video editing app called Edits. The Meta also plans to introduce new features based on feedback from creators. The company plans to enhance Edits with new features that aim to make video editing easier in upcoming updates.
