India Might Soon Get a Coca-Cola Smartphone

Coca-Cola, the world’s most popular soft drink brand is planning to make an innovative move. It  is planning to launch a smartphone in India to further have a stable presence in the country. This is going to make a major shift in the company’s strategy, as it has never entered into the technology field prior.

As per Indian tipster Mukul Sharma, the company is going to bring its smartphone in the country by March, 2023. Obviously it might sound unusual for a beverage company to come up with a smartphone. But, this is not the first time that a non-smartphone manufacturer enters the smartphone market.

It is also a good sign of increasing competition in the Indian market, as many companies are broadly expanding their product offering beyond just their business. As per tipster Mukul Sharma, Coca-Cola is collaborating with a smartphone brand. Yet, there is no official word of the specifications and pricing, but the images are the leaked, it seems to share design sensibilities with the realme 10 series.

Coming to the camera, there are dual cameras at the back, one could have a wide-angle lens and another a telephoto. Connectivity options may include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. Volume control buttons are located on the right edge of the phone. There are no other details of the Coca-Cola smartphone.

This launch by Coca-Cola will be a great opportunity for the company to get established in pop culture further and also to reach a wider customer base. Coca-Cola fans will get chances soon to use a Coca-Cola-branded smartphone. Coca-Cola is finally ready to dominate the smartphone segment.
