This Monday, Google has made official statement on addition AI-powered tools including Text Capture, Help me Read and Quick Insert on the upcoming Chromebook Plus 14 by Lenovo. The upcoming chromebook is going to add powerful AI tools to make the chromebook lineup more productive. This is going to be a major upgrade on ChromeOS by Google. As these applications are being included in ChromeOS, the users don’t need to install other third-party applications to experience the AI features. Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 Specifications
The upcoming chromebook is having 14” display, with OLED screen. It supports upto 400nits brightness, 60Hz refresh rate and also provide touch-screen feature to the users. This chromebook is powered by MediaTek Kompanio Ultra910 software. RAM is boosted upto 16GB in Lenovo 14 plus chromebook and internal storage configuration is set to 256GB. The current device is updated with ChromeOS, supports wi-fi 7, USB-A3.2 and USB-C3.2.
The battery is backed by 4-cell lithium-polymer material, which allows to stay upto 12h. The charging supports to C-type with 65W fast charging option. 5MP lens front camera is placed, and the current chromebook is built with Dolby Atmos sound quality. It is also having backlit keyboard, and aluminium casing for extra protection. It will be available in Seashell Colour.
AI-Powered Features in ChromeOS with Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14
The ChromeOS is being updated with three AI-powered features including Smart grouping, AI-image editing and custom wallpaper feature. To conduct any project, smart grouping will enable the users to organize the applications and files in a simple way. The custom wallpaper will enable the users to set Jupiter-themed wallpapers, developed by NASA, which will show the auroras across the different times of a day.
New AI tools being updated on Chromebook Plus models
Google has mentioned five more AI-powered tools which will be backed with the ChromeOS update. It is revealed that the Chromebook plus models will have this upgrade, the users can unlock the feature of “Search with Lens” tool, Text capture tool, Quick Insert key, Help-me-read tool and Google AI Pro tool. Search with lens will enable the users to search any content directly without leaving the landpage. Text capture will help to extract the text from the image easily. Quick insert key will help the users to insert any AI-generated texts or images easily without searching it anywhere. Hep-me-read will enable the users to simplify the complex texts. The upgrade will also be coming with Google AI Pro Plan, which will enable the users to use AI tools like Gemini premium version free for 12 months. 2TB cloud storage will also be given to the users under this plan.
Lenovo Chromebook 14 Plus Pricing and Availability
The chromebook will be rolling out soon, will be available on the official website of Lenovo and BestBuy. The pricing will be around $749, which can translate to INR 64,555.
