WhatsApp never stops surprising the users with its update. Meta is always looking forward to adding new features to WhatsApp, and ‘sharing a document with caption’ in chat is one such.
As per a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is planning to add the share documents with caption feature to the Android and iOS users soon. It also said that this feature is already live to some of the beta testers of WhatsApp.
It is also believed that the new share document with caption feature will be available to all the users by the end of 2022. This will be just the feature that telegram has now, where we can see the add caption option when a document is shared.
This feature will be very useful while searching for the shared document, we all know document names can’t be searched in chat, while the caption can be shared and found with ease.
WhatsApp is reportedly working to improvise this feature, so that it can give the users an all new experience. WABetaInfo also reported that it’s quite handy and easy to use as WhatsApp will give the caption bar to enter the caption while sharing any document.
The add caption feature is currently available only for the videos, photos, and GIFs. But it will be really useful if this is added to the file or document share as well.
