
A leak out of China reveals that Apple is redesigning with a higher-end camera facility and premium designs for the next three iPhone generations. Many say it is going to be the biggest makeover by Apple iPhone in years. The upcoming 17 series of Apple iPhones will surprise you with their wide rear camera bar across the back of the phone.
Not only that, but the leak also claims Apple is going to shift gear in 2026 by paying more attention to the front side and Under-display sensor to Face ID in the iPhone 18 series. In 2027, the iPhone 19 series might come with the biggest surprise!!
In the 17 series, camera lenses will be aligned on the left, but LED flash, LiDAR sensor, and microphone will be on the right side. Some claim the 17 series of iPhone is coming with a dual tone in the back, but some claim it might not. Apple has played very safe for the last few years, critiques leaked that it is coming with several re-designing options from 2025.
The leak also claims that the iPhone 18 series will no longer follow the old pill-shaped module, replaced by a punch-hole cutout for the front camera. It will be really surprising for the whole tech world if the iPhone makes a debut with an under-display face ID feature.
Leak claims another feature of having full touch-screen, no notch, no cutout in Apple’s iPhone 19 series, coming in 2027. Full-touch notchless iPhone was long-rumour, finally, we came to know the year!! However, Under-display cameras implementation is tough, even for Apple, as experiment by RedMagic reveals a difference between image quality in traditional camera and in under-display camera.
So here are back-to-back three changes in the next three years of the Apple iPhone:
- Implementing Horizontal Large Metrix Lens Deco in the backside in 2025
- Under-display Face ID and punch-hole cutout design in frontside in 2026
- Full-Screen Notchless in 2027
