Apple has launched a no-cost repair plan for its Mac users. This scheme is specifically for those Mac mini (M2 chip) models that are facing the problem of repeatedly shutting down or not turning on. The company says that in some units this problem may be due to hardware, so its solution is being given for free. This program is applicable in many countries, but the repair will be done in the same country from where the device was purchased.

Which Mac Models Will Get The Benefit
Under this program, only those Mac mini will be covered which are manufactured between 16 June 2024 and 23 November 2024. Only those devices will get this service which are facing technical problems like not powering on.
If you have a Mac mini and it is made between the manufacturing date mentioned above, then you can check by serial number whether your device comes under this scheme or not by visiting Apple's website.
For How Long Will You Get Free Repair
This free repair service can be availed for three years from the date you purchased the device. This means that if you bought your Mac in August 2024, you can take advantage of this program till August 2027, even if the warranty of the device has expired.
How And Where To Get Repair
Users can check by visiting Apple's official website and entering the serial number of their Mac. If your device is eligible, you can get free repair by visiting the nearest Apple authorized service center.
However, it is worth noting that the repair will be done only in the country from where the device was purchased. That is, if you have bought a Mac from India, then the repair will also be done here.
