Apple $95M Settlement Claim Guide: Who Qualifies & How to File Before Deadline

Have you ever felt that Siri is listening to you without being asked? If yes, then there is important news for you. Apple has settled a case and is now paying $95 million in compensation. If you have used an Apple device with Siri in the last few years, then you too may be eligible for money.

What is the matter?

Some users had accused Apple that Siri sometimes got activated without saying “Hey Siri” and used to record people's conversations. These recordings were later listened to by the company's employees so that the system could be improved. In some cases these recordings were shared with other people as well. Apple accepted this mistake and said that they decided to solve the case quickly so that they could avoid a long court battle.

Who can make a claim?

If you've used an Apple device with Siri in the last few years, such as an iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Apple Watch, etc. and you used it between September 17, 2014 and December 31, 2024 you're eligible for this claim.

You can get different compensation for the number of eligible devices you have. You can get up to $20 for one device and up to $100 if you have 5 devices. However, this amount will also depend on how many people have made a claim.

How to claim?

  • Give your name, address and device information.
  • A small form will have to be filled, in which you will tell that Siri listened to you without asking.
  • You can choose to check, e-check or direct deposit to get the money.

Last date?

Make sure to claim by July 2, 2025. Final approval will be given on August 1, 2025.

So don't delay! If you use a device with Siri, you can earn up to $100 in just a few minutes.
