The Android Auto 14.1 beta has simply left its users in confusion. The update brought on a plethora of features, from playing a few select Android games to showing on your car display. Some users are even reporting that the Google app is appearing on their Android Auto.
Now, this unexpected presence of the Google app on Android Auto proves to be quite confusing, considering its absence as per regular protocols. The app opens with some UI design that feels more like conversing in a messaging app, and it says, ''No new messages during this drive.'' Quite similar to Google Messages or WhatsApp.
This began appearing after the stable Google app version 16.11.37 update was pushed alongside Android Auto 14.1. However, not many users have been able to get the Google app on their Android Auto. So this might be an error or an early version of something becoming.
It's hard to say anything about it so far; it might also have something to do with upcoming Gemini new features for Android Auto that are anticipated to deliver different tools and updates. It could also have been meant to convey Google app notifications; however, that seems a little far-fetched.
As of now, nobody knows why the Google app started appearing on Android Auto. For now, one must wait to check if it becomes something Google plans to officially introduce in the future.
