In Apple’s latest software development, Perris noticed a small but one of the major changes this is a line of code that once referred only to 'AirPods Pro 2nd Generation' has now been updated to read 'AirPods Pro 2 or later.' This small change shows that Apple is working to make compatibility for the new upcoming models it is most likely for AirPods Pro 3
Although the code doesn’t show any specific release date or any important details but it clearly shows that Apple is getting its system ready for the upcoming hardware. Apple usually makes these changes a few months before a new product launch, which shows the rumors might come true for the AirPods Pro 3, which is expected to launch in September 2025 along with the Apple Watch Ultra 3, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Air.
