Twitter, the renowned application associated with microblogging and social networking service is now making new amendments for its further development in the global market. These changes were implemented a few days after its takeover by the world’s richest man Elon Musk. The new owner has ordered global job cut-offs on Twitter and has nearly fired half of the workforce, and to everyone’s surprise, most of the layoff team constituted renowned chiefs.
It has created a panic situation for most of the Twitter employees and was intimated to everyone through layoff mails or slack or by denying office access. It has created a horrifying experience for the Twitter team and also shocked most users with the information encryption in the application.
He previously discussed improving the cost and economic viability of the Twitter website. After taking over Twitter, Elon Musk promptly fired the previous CEO, Parag Agrawal, the legal department’s Vijaya Gadde, and a few other department executives.Â

Twitter also said that all credential access would be suspended and offices will be temporarily shuttered to ensure the safety of each employee as well as customer data and Twitter systems.

Thousands of employees were fired as Elon Musk decided to reduce Twitter’s global staff. The department head of social and Editorial marked his departure from his position by sharing a tweet. Many of the employees are heartbroken whereas, some employees shared their working experience before clearing their desks. Despite this, one of the employees received an email stating her job was safe, and can continue working with Twitter.Â
Agarwal also uploaded a photo holding two pillows with the Twitter emblem, and wearing a t-shirt advertising Twitter merchandise. Several other Twitter employees used the hashtag #OneTeam to share their conflicted emotions about the layoffs on their social media platforms.
