Here is a premium foldable smartphone, i.e; Pixel fold which is going to launch in 2023. It is Google’s 1st foldable smartphone to be released in the market. This is going to cost around ₹1.5 lakh. Amazingly, this new device will feature 9.5MP front cameras.Â
Google has launched the Pixel 7 series this year. After the launch of this Pixel 7 series earlier this year, Google has planned to launch its first foldable smartphone. The new foldable device is going to be reportedly introduced alongside the Pixel tablet in 2023. The foldable device from Google will likely cost around the price of USD 1,799 which is about Rs 1,45, 697.
As per a report in GSMArena, this new device dubbed as ‘Pixel Fold’ is awaiting to be launched at Google’s annual developer conference I/O, and this is usually held in May. The Pixel Fold is likely to be in Chalk and Obsidian black colour options. Meanwhile, several reports have commented that the device will be coming with performance and cameras visible on the existing line of Pixel flagship devices.
And Also, the camera set-up of the Pixel Fold might not be as expansive as those seen on the Pixel 7 Series as they do not spread out to the edges. The foldable device is likely to come up with two 9.5MP front cameras. Where one camera will be featured in the hole punch cutout on the outer screen, the other camera may be on the top right side of the bezel on the inner screen. The Pixel foldable device will come with a triple-rear camera module deployed on the camera strip. This may also feature a USB Type-C port.
Reportedly this device will have its fingerprint sensor embedded on the power button. It will feature two speakers, one at the top and the other at the bottom. An earlier report had reported that Pixel Fold will feature a ‘full screen’ interior with ultra-micro-hole camera on the frame of the device.
This October, Google unveiled its Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The latest smartphones are powered by the latest Tensor G2 chipset. The flagship smartphones were launched with Pixel Tablet and Pixel Watch. The Pixel 7 Series comes with Google’s latest privacy, security features and also with upgraded cameras.
