Xiaomi Rolls Out May Update: POCO X6 Pro & Redmi Note 13 Pro Security Fixes                                    

Xiaomi has started the test for the May security update on POCO X6 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. This recent development shows Xiaomi's continuous commitment to keeping its devices secure and updated with the latest security improvements. Xiaomi employees are currently testing the HyperOS upgrade, it is also expected that Mi Pilot users will also get it in the coming days, followed by a global release.

Software Update Rollouts by region

Xiaomi is preparing several regional versions of the update that are designed for various markets. Internal tests have revealed the version numbers assigned to each region:-

  • POCO X6 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro (RU Global) - OS2.0.9.0.VERRUXM (garnet)
  • POCO X6 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro (ID Global) - OS2.0.8.0.VNRIDXM (garnet)
  • POCO X6 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro( TW Global) – OS2.0.8.0.VNRTWXM(garnet)
  • POCO X6 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro( IN Global)– OS2.0.8.0.VNRINXM (garnet)
  • POCO X6 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro (Global) – OS2.0.10.0.VNRMIXM (garnet)

These codenames suggest that the update is being prepared for Indonesia, Russia, Taiwan, India, and global markets at the same time, so users around the world can receive the security improvements at nearly the same moment.

While Xiaomi hasn't officially shown the changelog, the update is expected to include:
