Xiaomi officially launches its 10-in-1 USB-C dock station to the market

                                   

Xiaomi has silently released its 10-in-1 Type-C expansion dock in China, which was initially introduced through crowdfunding. Now users can purchase it through JD.com, If we talk about price, then it is available for 199 yuan (approximately $28).

Detailed Features of Xiaomi 10-in-1 Dock

The dock is made up of a durable aluminum alloy casing, and it also has a dedicated space to manage the cable, which provides a cleaner and organized desk setup. The dock uses a single Type-C connection and provides 10 different ports, including one Type-C port, three USB-A ports, an HDMI output, a Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and separate slots for SD and TF cards.

Xiaomi 10-in-1 Dock has three USB-A ports, and it also has an extra Type-C port, which supports the USB 3.0 standard, through which it provides a maximum data transfer speed of 5 Gbps. According to Xiaomi, users can transfer a 1GB file in around three seconds, but the actual transfer speed may vary according to the device compatibility and cable quality.

With the help of PD100W fast charging support, the dock can easily deliver up to 90W charging power to connected laptops. The HDMI port supports 4K video output at 60Hz for smooth and sharp visuals. Meanwhile, the Gigabit Ethernet port will be able to handle network speeds of 1000Mbps, 100Mbps, and 10Mbps, which provides users with fast and stable internet connectivity.

If we talk about compatibility, then the dock is compatible with Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android, which provides plug-and-play features without using any additional drivers.

The docking station also has the feature of hot-swapping, through which users can add or remove devices without unplugging them.

However, as per the Xiaomi recommendation, users can check if their device’s Type-C port is fully functional, as devices with limited Type-C support may only support partial features.

Xiaomi’s 10-in-1 docking station gives users the best combination of major features with budget-friendly pricing. However, it may be limited to the Chinese market for now.
