As per the official notification from Samsung, the rollout date of the One UI for the Galaxy S24 series and for other Samsung smartphones was 7th April 2025. In the first stage of the One UI 7 Update rollout, South Korea received it first while other regions like Europe, America, and others will receive it very soon. However, if we talk about the major Samsung device markets like India they are in the line to receive an update.

The development of One UI 7 kicked off through a beta program rolled out in December 2024, allowing beta users to explore upcoming features. Since then, multiple beta versions were rolled out to the S24 series ahead of the stable release. Currently, the One UI 7 update is only available for the beta testers.

What’s New in One UI 7 rollout

One UI 7 introduces a refreshed user interface featuring redesigned app icons for a better appearance. Users can enjoy a more personalized home screen, enhanced widgets, and expanded customization options. Users will also have the option to resize icons and modify text through personalization features.

With the New features like the Now Bar and Live Notifications users get updates about app updates and their real-time status. These features offer real time updates and let you manage notifications directly from the lock and home screens. However, the user experience is enhanced through refined and responsive animations which make interaction with the software feel smoother and more natural.

From the user’s perspective, this update is very genuine but users need to wait long to experience this update in their smartphones. The Samsung India forum is filled with the messages of users for the One UI 7.0 update, but the update is still pending.

Conclusion

But now the question arises when Samsung will release the One UI 7.0 Update in India. Only the phone manufacturer (Samsung) has the answer, and making assumptions could be misleading. The rollout is anticipated to start this week, while Germany is likely to receive the update on April 14. So all the user who is waiting for it eagerly needs to check their device frequently to know about the update.
