
Sony has officially confirmed that its upcoming Xperia product will be released on May 13, 2025, where the much-awaited Xperia 1 VII is likely to be introduced.
At the start of the year, Sony revealed that the smartphone will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite Mobile Platform. On the Geekbench listing smartphone with the model number XQ-FS54 will feature 12GB of RAM and it is based on Android 15. Also, the smartphone with the same model number was certified by the US FCC, and that phone has the dimensions 162 x 74.5 x 8.5mm. If we talk about battery, then it will feature a 5000mAh Battery, which is more than the previous versions.
In this smartphone, we will get a big screen, which is 6.5 inches with 4K OLED, which is the same as the previous versions. The OIS main camera is coming with a 48 MP Sensor. It also has a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12 MP Periscope telephoto with up to 200mm variable zoom, and for the front it has a 12 MP selfie camera. Sony's upcoming Xperia launch event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM Japan Standard Time (JST) and 7:30 AM Indian Standard Time (IST).

Based on earlier leaks, the Xperia 1 VII retains Sony’s iconic tall design with a flat frame. While this smartphone will feature the power, shutter buttons, and volume buttons on the right side, and on the left side, it is cleaned. And also one amazing feature is there which has vanished from the new flagship smartphones, that is the 3.5mm jack, dual speaker front facing, and also the micro SD slot is there in this smartphone. It will come with a triple camera set on the back, and it will also have a USB Type-C port.
If we talk about the benchmark result, then Xperia 1 VII has a 2,967 single-core and 9,017 multi-core score, on the Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite chipset.
