Table of Contents
New And Fresh Design
The interface of Android 16 now looks more colourful and modern. Google has introduced Material 3 Expressive design this time. It is getting new icons, better animations and dynamic colour themes. Notification panel and Quick Settings also come with a new layout, which looks more smooth and organised than before.
Improvement In Security
Google has also updated the security features. Now if the phone is unlocked or offline, sensitive notifications like OTP will not be shown on the screen. Apart from this, options like changing accessibility settings during a call or installing unknown apps are automatically blocked. These changes have been made keeping user safety in mind.
Support Of Live Activities
Android 16 has a new feature, Live Activities. Through this feature, you can see important updates without opening the app, like where the house has reached or how far the cab is. All this information is visible on the phone's lock screen itself, so there is no need to open the app again and again.
For Which Devices Is It Available
This beta update is available for phones coming after Pixel 6, such as Pixel 7, 8 series, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet. Those who want, can download it by enrolling in the Android Beta Program.
Keep In Mind
Since this is a beta version, it can have bugs and technical issues. It would be better to wait a little longer for the stable version.
