The renowned microblogging application, Twitter is stretching out its services to strengthen its economy and also to develop it globally. As of this, there have been many changes in Twitter after its takeover by Elon Musk. Now Twitter is rolling out its verification tag, the “blue tick” in India. As of the reports, this service will be available at a price of $8 in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and UK per month and is available at Rs. 719 per month in India.
This service is first available for iPhone users and soon it will be accessed by other Android users. Some Indian users stated that they have received a prompt requesting them to subscribe to Twitter Blue. On this subscription note, Elon Musk has given a statement that these subscription services would be adjusted as per the countries proportionate in purchasing power parity or misuse. This strategy has lately got decreased and verified users.
Recently, Elon Musk declared that in India the Twitter Blue membership services will be available for $8 in less than a month. This decision has been made when several fake accounts are being created and received “verification” checkboxes on Twitter. Even the fake accounts were created in the names of LeBron James and George W.Bush.
On Friday, Elon Musk claimed that Twitter core will remove all the bogus and crooked legacy Blue verification checkmarks from Twitter in the following months. Musk stated that the accounts that mimic the verified accounts should have “parody” in their names despite their bio.
Elon Musk tweeted, “To be more precise accounts doing parody impersonations. Basically, tricking people is not ok.” Additionally, Elon noted that he enjoys it when people express their grief about Twitter on Twitter and also said that accounts that have been inactive for months would soon be deleted on Twitter.
